TODAY, Thursday, September 11, 4 - 5:30 on KKCR (Kaua'i Community Radio)

Join Katy and guest co-host Marcus as we speak with Steve Dinion of Hawai'i Labor for Peace and Justice. (Jimmy Trujillo
will be off this Thursday.)

Hawai‘i Labor for Peace and Justice, an affiliate of US Labor Against the War, is a coalition of Hawai'i working people who oppose the occupation of Iraq and support a free Iraqi labor movement. They call for an immediate withdrawal of all US troops and contractors from Iraq, and demand that they be properly cared for when they return. HLPJ opposes US-led efforts to privatize Iraq's resources and undermine Iraqi unions, and pledges to fight against efforts to increase US intervention in the region.

Steve Dinion is a musician, a union member and an organizer for Hawai'i Labor for Peace and Justice.
