Pursuant to Section 7.07 A. of the Kaua‘i County Charter, as amended,
the purpose of this Special Council meeting is to select, by majority vote, one
of the members of the Kaua‘i County Council to serve as Mayor until
December 1, 2008.

has had on your community.

The National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) is conducting community sessions
with the support of the Kellogg Foundation to identify pressing issues and identify
community‐driven solutions in Native Hawaiian communities. Guests will review existing
programs and funding sources that are working to maintain our rich quality of life in Hawaii.
