    Wave, wind, hydro, PV arrays.

  • KIUC and Council Cooperation
Look to foster more communication and support between these two groups of stakeholders.

Re: Eco-Roundtable Energy Group 11/13 Notes

What is the efficiency on the latest alternating current energy solar cells?

Re: Eco-Roundtable Energy Group 11/13 Notes

Not sure on this one but Apollo Kauai does have a fair amount of engineers at their meetings. If you haven't been there you should go. Next one is 12/13. Check the calendar on this site.

Re: Eco-Roundtable Energy Group 11/13 Notes

I am always dealing with electric bill shock every month so can't afford to pay for any engineering advice. If its advice I need, it would be for medium to low scale projects. Also looking for wood burning hot water heater plans like in the old plantation days. I figure if we burn invasive species, like dried haoli koa, the cost of hot water wouldn't be so cold.

Would like to hear more about harnessing "Johnson Noise" that someone mentioned at the last eco-roundtable. Did not hear everyone's ideas because either the groups were too big, time was too short or the room acoustics were bad or any combination. Hopefully groups are smaller at Apollo Kauai. I am not sure if the next meeting will be at the HGEA (next to Tip Top?).

Captcha answer: Yes, I am human. (Just kidding)

This month's Apollo Kaua'i (12/13) meeting is on state legislation. Bring info on important bills that might come up this year.
