Northwestern Hawaiian Islands
No Human Footprint on Papahanaumokuakea Marine Monument
This is it! The last major push to fully protect the fragile Northwestern Hawaiian Islands! Your
voice and your comments are desperately needed! The Co-Trustees charged with protecting
Papahanaumokuakea are seeking public approval for a draft management plan that
proposes construction of new facilities to support and promote tourism, undefined and
potentially invasive research projects, with no mitigations for expanded Navy activities in the
area.
This is our chance to say "No More! No more extractive research, no more tourism, no
more military! No human footprint on the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands."
