Save Kauai brings together current information about Kauai and web-based tools that allow you to take action. If we want to affect the future of Kauai in a pono way we must organize and begin implementing solutions, not just fighting the problems.

Save Kauai is a web destination intended to be used to preserve and perpetuate the island, it's resources and it's people. Save Kauai is about all of us, being inspired to organize and make the better future that we have been hoping for.
The vision is that the site is maintained by the community that uses it. The site is provided to allow the community to share information, collaborate on community issues and solutions by utilizing the suite of tools that are provided or requested. A do-it-yourself website for building community.
The site was initially supported by Malama Kaua'i, a Kilauea based non-profit that advocates for community-based, sustainable solutions, but ultimately the site shall support itself through user participation and donations.
If you are interested in helping to Save Kauai, register on the site and make it what you want! The only framework that we ask you keep is sustainability, or at a basic level, what the Hawaiians call Aloha 'Aina.
We have the ability to create online petitions and to send email directly to your representatives or other key stakeholders on important issues that are being followed.
